Mademoiselle K's Story Behind the Camera

My uncle, a professional photographer, inspired me to start in the business at the age of 14. At 17, I transitioned from analog to digital photography while working in a photo studio and studying in another field.
After a 16-year career in human resources at Bombardier Aerospace, I resigned to return to full-time photography. After building my studio, I started my business “Création Souvenirs Mademoiselle K” based on my core values: honesty, justice, pleasure, and respect for people.
I decided to do what I’m passionate about every day. Since founding my company in 2014, my mission has been to make people shine through my camera lens.

Respect for People

The sudden idea of highlighting professionals also in words (not just in photos!) crossed my mind one winter morning in 2017.
I wanted to interview and photograph people who had also dared to leave their jobs to pursue their passion, just like me.
It was then that my first book was released, featuring beautiful color portraits and interviews (Inspiration au masculin, published by Performance Édition 2019).
Without further ado, I continued my writing with Inspiration au féminin (2021)… And then with two books that recount the touching journeys of breast cancer survivors (25 nuances de rose, 2022 & 26 nouvelles nuances de rose, 2023).
